WHAT IS COVERED AND FOR HOW LONG?

GALILEO WHEEL promises to deliver the very best in wheel design and manufacturing.  To ensure the quality of our products, we offer a warranty on all wheels designed and  manufactured by GALILEO WHEEL.

This Limited Warranty covers original tread by GALILEO WHEEL, including the tire and  wheel assemblies, purchased from us or an authorized GALILEO WHEEL Dealer after  January 1, 2023. If there is a defect in workmanship and materials during the life of  the original usable tread, or five (5) years from date of manufacture (whichever comes  first), your product may be replaced on a pro-rata basis under this warranty.

The defect must be determined by GALILEO WHEEL as preventing ongoing reasonable  service. After five years or the wear of the original usable tire tread, whichever occurs  first, all warranties, expressed or implied, expire. The date of manufacture is molded  on the sidewall of our product. The original usable tread pattern is the original pattern  down to the tread pattern wear indicators level – 1.6 mm (2/32 inch) of tread pattern  remaining.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

This warranty does not cover tires that become unserviceable due to misuse, abuse,  or accident such as (but not only):

• Road hazard damage (e.g. a cut, side wall pinch shock damage, other impact  damage or puncture, whether repairable or not);

• Incorrect mounting of the tire, or improper repair;

• Mechanical irregularity in the equipment;

• Tires fitted to or used with incompatible or improper valves, rims, or wheels;

• Equipment with a higher recommended load and or speed index than the load  and speed index marked on the tire side walls;

• Improper storage;

• Tires, which have not been fitted or used in accordance with the technical  recommendations of the manufacturer as published from time to time; • Accident, fire, chemical explosion, tire alteration, or vandalism; • Rubber cracks due to prolonged exposure to the elements;

• Failure to properly tighten the bolts when attaching the GALILEO WHEELs to

the pivot hub. Improper torquing of the bolts can result in stripped threads on

the studs or "stretched" threads, or enlarged bolt holes due to friction or movement, and may potentially void the warranty.

Please note that warranty will not be void in these cases:

• Use of spacers between wheel and hub to prevent rubbing.

• Replacing hub studs (for longer ones) for compatibility with certain various  pivot systems.

This Limited Warranty is in addition to, and/or may be limited by, any other applicable  written warranty you may have received concerning special tires or situations.
